We say no to the WHO global monitoring system!

What does the WHO want?

According to Ärzteblatt, the WHO wants to establish a "worldwide network for pandemic control".1. This was already announced by WHO Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus in October last year.

A "global network for data collection and analysis" is needed to fight future pandemics more effectively and to guarantee "global health".

To this end, the WHO is striving for a Internationally legally binding pandemic treaty under international law to2which was presented in December 2021. In the front line: the EU.3

What sounds good at first glance is de facto a Instrument to force all states under a worldwide dictate of the WHO. In the name of health care, a surveillance system is to be installed that spans the entire globe and into which every member state is to be incorporated.

He who pays, commands!

More than 75% of WHO's funding comes from contributions such as the Gavi Immunisation Alliance, the World Bank, Rotarians International and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, one of the largest donors.4 The 194 member states contribute only about 20% of the total budget.5

The name Bill Gates is often mentioned in connection with the financing of the WHO. In fact, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is a not insignificant donor to the WHO. With around 10%, it is the second largest financier of the health organisation after the USA.
The second major non-governmental donor to the WHO is the vaccination alliance Gavi. Incidentally, Gavi, which is based in Geneva, largely enjoys immunity and is exempt from taxes. In addition, Simonetta Sommaruga secured more than CHF 30 million for it in June 2020.6 Gavi was founded by WHO, Unicef, the World Bank and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.7which has already brought in several hundred million dollars in donations to the Gavi. The circles are closing!8

Time is of the essence!

On 1 March 2022, a government-level negotiating body started with a first meeting to agree on working procedures and deadlines.
The 2nd meeting will be held on 1 August 2022 to discuss the progress of a working version.

A "progress report" is to be presented at the 76th World Health Assembly in 2023, with a view to adopting this treaty in 2024.9

We must not let it come to that.

States must also retain their sovereignty in health matters. Governments have a duty to their citizens and can meet the needs of their country themselves. Democratic control by us citizens must not be eliminated.

Astrid Stuckelberger

Where this can lead is described by Dr Astrid Stuckelberger - private lecturer at the medical faculties in Geneva and Lausanne, expert in international health and research science. Time and again, she has also worked with the WHO:

"In the last week of January 2022, the WHO held an emergency meeting and consultations in Geneva on expanding its powers to take over all member states in the event of a pandemic and "any other form of threat or disaster". WHO wants member states to sign a new Covid-19 treaty that expands on the 2005 treaty. Once signed by health ministers, the WHO Constitution (under its Article 19) takes precedence over a country's constitution in the event of a natural disaster or pandemic (189 countries have signed the 2005 treaty). Since the definition of pandemic was changed a few years ago (cases based on the PCR test), they can enforce obedience in any country and impose WHO guidelines on the public, which are mandatory, not just recommended. And that sounds like power over the country and the world".10

We demand:

The Federal Council must send a public letter of protest to the WHO. We must not allow the signature of our Health Minister Alain Berset to decide the fate of millions of people past the people without a referendum.
