WHO Pandemic Convention - We must resist!

The World Health Organisation is commonly associated with "health care". But is this true? Let's take a closer look. The WHO is planning a worldwide legally binding agreement on pandemic control.

What has been done so far?

On 1 December 2021, all 194 members agreed on the need to initiate a process to develop an international agreement. The goal: strengthening pandemic prevention and preparedness is needed. These plans can be found in this WHO press release. (https://www.who.int/news/item/01-12-2021-world-health-assembly-agrees-to-launch-process-to-develop-historic-global-accord-on-pandemic-prevention-preparedness-and-response)

In the meantime, there is a negotiating body that will meet with the governments. The 1st meeting must be held by 1 March 2022, the 2nd meeting by 1 August 2022.

A progress report must be available at the 76th World Health Assembly in 2023 so that this steering instrument can then be adopted worldwide by 2024.

Sounds good! What's the problem?

The WHO argues that in view of the COVID 19 pandemic, no government can manage the threat of future pandemics on its own. Therefore, a legally binding agreement under international law is needed. It would also ensure long-term political commitment at the level of heads of state and government. Tasks could be defined and public and private support could be expanded at all levels.

However, fine words like "collective solidarity", "fairness", "health care" cannot hide the fact that the sovereignty of the individual states is being undermined, even undermined.

To minimise pandemic risks, the WHO also wants to install a surveillance system. More warning levels would have to be introduced. According to the WHO, this could increase the legitimacy of restrictive measures.

The flow of information is also considered essential. Reliable information should be promoted, while false information must be combated worldwide. In plain language, this means: censorship of media reporting worldwide!

The EU is at the forefront of these efforts. On 12 November 2021, Charles Michel, President of the European Council, announced the need for an international pandemic treaty. Already on 19 February 2021, the G7 heads of state and government had expressed the same intentions.

It all sounds familiar. The elites are in agreement.

But for the citizens and also the individual states, this means one thing: no say whatsoever in the measures, dictation from above, coercion and totalitarian access to state sovereignty.

We must not let that happen! With the Covid pandemic, we got a foretaste of what measures "from above" can mean for us. Switzerland must defend itself with all means against this attempt to enforce WHO guidelines worldwide and to force obedience.
