In March 2021, the following additions were included in the existing Covid 19 law, against which we successfully filed a referendum, which the Swiss people can vote against on the 28th November:

1. Unvaccinated people are discriminated against, there is a split in society!
2. There will be electronic Mass surveillance introduced to the population!
3. Introduction of a State Covid Passescreating an indirect compulsion to vaccinate!
4. The Federal Council gains even more power to imposition covid measures!

1. Discrimination against the unvaccinated
   The strict quarantine regulations are restricted to people who do not want or cannot get vaccinated. Other regulations, such as the costly testing obligation for return flights from abroad, only apply to the unvaccinated. However, as vaccinated people can also become infected and be contagious, this unequal treatment is not objectively justified.
   This introduces discrimination against the unvaccinated, which they wish to expand even further in the future. Together with the Covid certificate this leads to an indirect compulsory vaccination for everyone. People risk loosing their jobs because they do not want to be vaccinated, friendships break up, families are divided. All this leads to a division of society and is not the Swiss culture.
2. Electronic mass surveillance
   The Confederation is introducing a "comprehensive, effective and digital contact tracing", a so-called TTIQ system (Testing, Tracing, Isolation, Quarantine). Meaning nothing other than a comprehensive electronic mass surveillance of citizens, their lives, social contacts, their movement and their travels. The data is to be stored in central databases. This could lead to similar conditions like in China with total surveillance and a social points system!
3. Indirect compulsory vaccination and job losses due to state Covid passport
   The Covid certificate threatens the open and free society. The lives and freedom of movement of all citizens are controlled and restricted. The certificate requirement enforces that one must be vaccinated and how often this should happen. The unvaccinated can no longer participate in social life like their vaccinated counterparts. The certificate is used to control access to wide areas of public life: social, sporting activities and cultural events such as concerts and theatre performances, hospital visits, political events and can even go as far as giving you the right to work.
   The Covid pass is of no use and is a harassment, an example being the Albanien music festival which was banned in Zürich, despite the certificate requirement. In restaurants, bars and hotels, the Covid certificate will lead to another massive drop in turnover, a loss of thousands of jobs (50,000 have already been lost in this sector since 2020!) and to an acceleration of the already dramatic death of pubs. Entrepreneurs must act as policemen who annoy their clientele through controls and officially ordered discrimination.

YES to a voluntary Covid certificate for travel abroad

We are in favour of a voluntary Covid certificate to facilitate travel abroad. In the event of a NO vote on 28 November, we see it as the duty of the Confederation and the cantons to continue to offer such a certificate. But even without a certificate, travel remains possible. Several American states, for example, have even banned a Covid certificate.

4. Even more power for the Federal Council
   The Federal Council is empowered to set the criteria and benchmarks for restrictions on economic and social life. This gives it control over the entire life of citizens. This extension of power means a further shift of power from parliament and the people to the government. This is undemocratic and dangerous. On the contrary, the powers for the Federal Council would have to be dismantled and control returned to parliament.

All these changes go in the direction of a health dictatorship designed to last. But the existing laws are sufficient to protect us adequately from infectious diseases. Citizens of Switzerland can continue to travel abroad without the unnecessary and extreme revision. So do not be deceived! Make sure that our Switzerland continues to be a country where everyone has the same rights, no one is under surveillance. As in the past, everyone must be able to decide freely about their medical treatments.
